Westside Regional Center's Department of Community Services issues Requests For Proposals (RFP's) when there is a need to develop specific facilities, programs or workshops. Should there be a current Request For Proposal, it can be downloaded from this page.
As part of the Statewide Community Placement Plan, Westside Regional Center is granted Start-Up funding for the development of services for consumers moving to the community from the State Developmental Centers.These funds are awarded to the Service Provider that submits a proposal that best meets the development requirements requested through the Request For Proposal (RFP) process.
Westside Regional Center currently has the following RFP(s) in place for your submission:
RFP For Family Education Program On Early Childhood Language Development
RFP For Early Childhood Development for Infants and Toddlers At Risk
DEADLINE EXTENDED! Westside Regional Center has extended the submission deadline to the RFPs for the Family Education Program On Early Childhood Language Development and Early Childhood Development for Infants and Toddlers At Risk. The new deadline for these two RFPs is now January 4, 2010 by 10:00 AM. Any submissions beyond this extension will not be considered.
Please note the following new timelines:
January 22 - Notification of RFP award
February 1 – Awardees to submit a complete curriculum
February 2010 - Approved for referrals
