Festival of Human Abilities is a celebration of the creative spirit of people
with disabilities. It will feature music, storytelling, and interactive
displays for children and adults. All guests will have an opportunity to enjoy
a number of performances and activities that showcase the talents of people
from diverse backgrounds and abilities. The Aquarium of the Pacific is home to
more than 12,500 animals. They have interactive exhibits and plenty of things
to see. All students with disabilities may receive Free Admission for

Greater Long Beach and San Gabriel Valley Chapters are hosting this 2-day
conference. The theme for 2008 is Understanding Behavior: Multiple Causes and
Practical Interventions. A variety of topics will be offered including an array
of well known presenters. Registration fee is $125.00 and includes continental

This is a health and benefits training on work and disability. Learn vital information on how a person
enrolled in the 250% Medi-Cal Working Disabled Program can maintain their
Medi-Cal and In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) benefits while earning as much
as $50,000 per year. This training is open to persons with disabilities and professionals
who work with persons with disabilities.
This training is presented by the Personal Assistance Services Council
(PASC) in collaboration with the California Health Incentive Improvement
