Young has many years of experience as the Clinical Director of Crisis Support
Services and as a behavior consultant. This
training provides a basic outline of how to respond to a potential suicidal
situation based on the experiences of our Crisis Team. To help someone who is experiencing a crisis
we will suggest basic guidelines.
Research suggests that the majority of people who attempt suicide
literally do something to let others know their intentions before they
act. You will learn how to actively
recognize the warning signs of depression and suicide risk; as well as some
