Lotus Project presents this art exhibition and poetry reading featuring the
Women of The Lotus Project. The Lotus Project is a trauma and recovery program

The
National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is working with the Institute
for Applied Behavior Analysis to bring you this one-day workshop! They hope to
raise awareness and intervention of individuals with FASD while providing
strategies and resources for social workers, psychologists, and other mental
health professionals. This workshop will include a comprehensive overview of
possible consequences of prenatal alcohol exposure and will explore some of
these implications. The presenter will relate her personal story to illustrate
how alcohol use can affect children and their families. Kathleen Tavenner
Mitchell is the Vice President and National Spokesperson for the National Organization
on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. She has an extensive background and years of

is a Free workshop hosted by TASK(Team of Advocates
for Special Kids). The workshop will provide an overview of the Rights and
Protections mandated for Special Needs Children by the Individuals with
Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Vocational
Rehabilitation Act. Communication techniques are intermingled throughout the
workshop. Space is limited and reservations are required.

This is a health and benefits training on work and disability. Learn vital information on how a person
enrolled in the 250% Medi-Cal Working Disabled Program can maintain their
Medi-Cal and In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) benefits while earning as much
as $50,000 per year. This training is open to persons with disabilities and
professionals who work with persons with disabilities. This training is presented by the Personal
Assistance Services Council (PASC) in collaboration with the California Health
Incentive Improvement Project (CHIP). Please call to reserve your seat.
