MINIMUM WAGE RATE ADJUSTMENT- REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN MARCH 1, 2018

Minimum Wage Rate Adjustment

Dear Westside Regional Center Service Providers,

Effective January 1, 2018, the state of California’s Minimum Wage will increase.

For providers who have 26 or more employees the Minimum Wage will increase from $10.50 to $11.00 per hour. For providers who have fewer than 26 employees, the Minimum Wage will increase from $10.00 to $10.50.

Please see below a letter from the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) that outlines the procedures for all service providers. If you receive a rate letter from the DDS (Respite, Licensed Day Programs, WAP), you must complete the process outlined in the letter and submit the required forms to DDS.  ARM Level Residential Rates have already been calculated by DDS and are attached to the DDS letter.

If you have a Negotiated Rate or Median Rate, you must complete the spread sheet that is attached to this email: MW 2018 Adjustment – Negotiated Rate Adjustment.  Providers must provide payroll records to WRC for the months used in completing the form.

Rate adjustment requests must be submitted no later than March 1, 2018. Any rate adjustments approved will be effective January 1, 2018.
